Unlike the usual bamboos you see sitting in water, I’ve made my home in cocopeat. That means I’m easy to care for, mess-free, and way less dramatic. I bring peace, positive energy, and a little extra zen to your space. With my elegant layered look, I fit right into your desk, shelf, or sacred nook. Plus, I’m a lucky charm (and honestly, I look pretty lucky too).

Lotus Bamboo (How to Keep Me Happy)

  • Sunlight
I like soft, filtered light. Keep me in bright indoor light but away from direct sun. A spot near a window with a curtain works perfectly for me.
  • Watering
Since I live in cocopeat, I don’t need frequent watering. Touch the top of my soil—if it’s dry, it’s time for a drink. If it’s still moist, let me be. Overwatering is not my style.
  • Humidity
I’m pretty chill with average indoor humidity. If the air is very dry, a light mist once in a while will keep me fresh.
  • Temperature
I enjoy staying cozy between 18°C to 27°C. Please don’t put me near cold winds or in harsh, dry heat.

Plants don’t just sit pretty, they change the way your space feels

Sad Plants Signs

  • Yellowing leaves
This could mean I’ve had too much water. Let my cocopeat dry before watering again.
  • Soft or mushy stems
I’m probably staying too wet. Make sure my pot has good drainage and don’t let me sit in soggy soil.
  • Brown leaf tips
The air might be too dry or I’m getting too much direct sun. Shift me to a softer light and consider misting.
  • Slow or no growth
I might not be getting enough light. Try moving me to a brighter (still indirect) spot.
