Gymnocalycium Cactus (How To Keep Me Happy)
- Sunlight
I love bright light, so a sunny windowsill is perfect. I can handle some direct sunlight too, just don’t fry me in the scorching afternoon heat every day. - Watering
Water only when my soil is completely dry. I don’t like wet feet at all – soggy soil is my worst nightmare. In winter, you can water me even less. Trust me, I won’t mind. - Humidity
Dry air? No problem. I’m a desert native, remember? I thrive in dry conditions and don’t need any misting or extra moisture. - Temperature
Keep me warm and cozy, ideally between 20°C to 30°C. I can tolerate a bit cooler, but definitely keep me away from frost and cold drafts.
Plants don’t just sit pretty, they change the way your space feels
Sad Plants Signs
- Wrinkled or shrunken body
I might be thirsty. Give me a good drink, but only if my soil is dry. - Soft or mushy spots
Uh-oh… that’s a sign of overwatering or rot. Hold back on watering and check for drainage. - No blooms or very slow growth
I probably need more sunlight. Move me somewhere brighter to encourage flowering. - Yellowing or black spots
This could mean too much water or poor airflow. Let me dry out and keep me in a well-ventilated area.
