Bird’s Nest Fern (How To Keep Me Happy)
- Sunlight
I like bright, indirect light. Think forest floor vibes. Direct sunlight burns my lovely fronds, so keep me away from those harsh rays. Low light? I’ll still survive, but won’t grow as full and lush. - Watering
Water me when the top inch of soil feels dry. Pour water around the edge of the pot, not directly into my center – it’s my “nest” and I like to keep it dry. Too much water? Not my thing. - Humidity
I’m a humidity lover. Mist me often or keep me near a humidifier, especially if your air is dry. Bathrooms with filtered light? My dream home. - Temperature
Keep me warm – somewhere between 18°C to 27°C is ideal. No chills, please. I’m tropical by nature.

Sad Plants Signs
- Crispy, browning tips
The air might be too dry. Give me a little more humidity and keep me away from fans or heaters. - Yellowing leaves
Probably too much water or poor drainage. Let me dry out a bit before the next drink. - Slow growth or pale fronds
I might need more light. Try moving me a bit closer to a brighter spot, but still out of direct sun. - Curled or wilted leaves
That’s a sign I’m either thirsty or cold. Check my soil and make sure I’m cozy and not in a drafty spot.
