Bird of Paradise( How to Keep Me Happy )
Sunlight
I thrive in bright, indirect light and can handle some direct sun too. Near a large window is perfect. The more light, the better if you want me to bloom.
Watering
Water me when the top two inches of soil feel dry. I like a good soak, but don’t leave me sitting in soggy soil. My roots don’t swim well.
Humidity
I love warm, slightly humid air. Mist me now and then or keep me near other plants to raise the humidity. Dry air makes my leaves a bit sad.
Temperature
Keep me in warm spots, ideally between 20°C to 30°C. I hate the cold—keep me away from chilly drafts and frosty windows.
Plants don’t just sit pretty, they change the way your space feels.
Sad Plants Signs
- Curling leaves
I’m thirsty or the air is too dry. Check my soil or give me a misting session. - Brown leaf tips
That’s a sign of dry air or inconsistent watering. Try sticking to a watering schedule and raise humidity. - Yellowing leaves
Possibly too much water. Let the soil dry out a bit more between waterings. - No blooms
I might need more sunlight. I bloom best when I get lots of bright light daily.
